Joe Minicozzi of Urban3 demonstrates how you can use local data and simple math to understand—and share—the impact of development on your town or city’s economic health. Minicozzi uses case studies that illustrate how cities and regions can better forecast fiscally sustainable development patterns, while also protecting sensitive natural lands and waters.

Few communities consider the important role that local tax systems play in planning, zoning, placemaking, and capital improvement planning. Joe Minicozzi of Urban3 will change the way you think about the cost of development, sprawl, and the value of land.

Check out the corresponding "Ask Me Anything" session with Minicozzi and Marohn here.
