Montgomery Village (est. pop. 40,000), a vibrant, unique planned community is located in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. Conveniently located close to Washington D.C. and Baltimore, it is a community rich in history and an ideal place to call home.


Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization that promotes the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the Montgomery Village community. MVF consists of approximately 48 full-time employees and 175 temporary staff and has a 2022 operating budget of $8.7 million.


MVF is seeking an Executive Vice President (EVP) to be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the Architectural Standards, Communications, Community Management, Finance and Administration, and Recreation and Parks departments. The EVP is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Montgomery Village Foundation, handling long-range planning, investigating capital improvements and new revenue sources, and overseeing budget development. The EVP is selected by and reports to the Board of Directors and is a non-voting member.


The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $195,000 depending upon qualifications and experience. MVF offers a comprehensive, market competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan (up to 6% employer match), life insurance, and car allowance. Relocation expenses are negotiable.


This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, management, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in community management or public management. Equivalent education and experience will be considered. Previous community management experience with a large-scale homeowner association, Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) or equivalent certification, and experience with state and local government is desired.
