In my opinion, the easiest way to engage your city into the Strong Towns approach is to attend your city council or county commission meetings and share what you love about your community. Strong cities, towns, and neighborhoods cannot happen without strong citizens and people who care. Sharing what you like will be a shining beacon during these meetings and is the easiest thing each of us can do.
In my experience, you will connect with other people that love your community as much as you do. Once you build those connections for the things you love about your community, you will be prepared as an active citizen to tackle the struggles.
