Protected/designated bike lanes in Historic Districts
Hello Strong Town Community! Hoping you can help me find examples of protected/designated bike lanes in Historic Districts in mid-size cities or towns. By Historic District, I mean Historic Districts with design regulations and a review board and all that.
Thanks!
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Just noticed your post and was also interested in finding some more examples of this around the Midwest.
I was recently up in Middletown, Ohio, and found a few painted bike paths within the downtown/main street (pretty limited in scope/where you can go) but I did some more digging and it actually looks like the city is interested in expanding some of the lanes within town.

Hopefully, this is useful to you!
Thank you so much!
You might look into Bike Walk Savannah. Savannah has a huge historic district and is very bicycle friendly.
