LC Leaders
While your group might have a number of people who are involved in organizing activities and leading the group (many hands make light work!), our expectation is that some of these leaders will have:
- registered as a leader (https://airtable.com/app1ic7OiYFr4lQLc/shryzIRsqOKYNuAeQ) in our LC program
- enrolled in and finished the materials in the first section of the Local Conversation leaders training course
- signed and submitted the "Don't Be a Jerk Agreement"
- supported the broader Strong Towns movement by being a Strong Towns member
LC Members
We leave this question of who counts as a member entirely up to you. Some groups count the number of people on their email mailing list. Some groups roughly count the average number of attendees at recent events while others will count every person who has attended in the last six months or year.
We want to ensure that groups develop additional leaders with a direct connection to them through our LC program communications that they'll receive when they're signed up. We also want you to have a lot of flexibility to define members as best works for you.
This is relevant for our group leaders who are filling out the Level up to Stage 1 form.
And check out this explanation of the various stages of our groups here:
