There's a big mega project slated in Chicago to build on the massive parking moat around the United Center. The developer seems to want to do right by the neighborhood (largely black, poor, and marginalized) but these people are rightfully distrustful and concerned about being priced out. The mega project is building on empty parking lots, which is good, but what are some things that could be pushed for to make this project align more with the good of the neighbors? Would love thoughts here.
